Travel with me through Winter 2023

This winter was quite a spectacular one to say the least. A huge passion of mine is skiing and I have a long list of ski resorts I want to check off and this winter I did get to check off a few to say the least.

First and foremost this winter worked out how it did due two reasons, one I was able to save up enough money to go to a dream destination and two one of my trips got rescheduled due to injury from last season.

Unfortunately when you ski as much as I do, injury I always say “comes with the territory” the past two seasons before this I tore my ACL and broke my arm. But I don’t want to hone in too much on that because I am recovered and back at it better then before. But because of those setbacks I pretty much lost two seasons, which feels like a lifetime for me.

But I am going to share several articles in this series about the three destinations I went to and my experiences. This was me making up for lost time, in one season pretty much and also my mental battle with just getting back into the sport.

I started off the year in Switzerland, then headed over to British Columba to ski Whistler Blackcomb, and finished off the season in Lake Tahoe, California. Now these were three different trips and the last trip to Lake Tahoe was very last minute and spontaneous. But needless to say they were all amazing in their own way and I do want to go back and visit each one again.
